Russell Parker Dies Saturday in Spokane after Short Illness
Russell Barrett Parker, a resident of Boundary county for more than __ years, died Saturday afternoon in a Spokane hospital after a short illness. He was 58 years old at the time of his death.
Mr. Parker was born March 29, ---- at Pateros, Wash., where he received his formal education. He also attended business college in Seattle. -- November 28, 1916 he was married to Cora Mickelson at Wilson ----, Wash. where he farmed. In ---- the family moved to this county to farm. He was a member of the ----Lutheran church and of ----Lodge No. 36, I.O.O.F.
Survivors include his wife, Cora, -- home; a son Dwain of Tenino, Wash; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy ----- of San Mateo, Calif; two sisters, Mrs. Mertie Silverthorn of ----, and Miss Dorothy Parker of Los Angeles, and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday from Hillcrest Memorial Chapel at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Wal--- Johnson of Sandpoint officiating.
Interment was in the Grandview Cemetery.
This obit was on page 1, col 1 and in the fold of the newspaper, so that is why there are blanks. You might try calling Hillcrest Funeral Home in Sandpoint, to see if they have more information. They are online at hillcrestgardenscemetery.com

Unfortunately I know nothing about the Parker Family Ranch, but again, you might want to check with the funeral home in Bonners Ferry, if you know these people actually died here. They have a web site, http://www.bonnersferryfuneralhome.com/ and if you call them, they may be able to help you with more records. I have gone in there a couple of times, and they were in the process of trying to put a lot on the computer, and may have done that now. It has beena couple of years since I was there.
