Harvey H. Koffel, 79 of Kootenai died this morning about 5 o’clock at a local hospital following a lingering illness.

The deceased was born in Ohio in 1898. He came to Priest River from Kansas where he resided until he moved to Kootenai for the next 11 years.

He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Leora Canary, Kansas; Mrs. Auttie Canary, Portland, OR; Mrs. Anna Whipps and Mr. Mary Cook both of Spokane and the son, Howard Koffel, of Kootenai besides 18 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday from the Moon Chapel at 2 P.M. with burial in Lakeview Cemetery.
