Cemetery or death record needed for Matilda Jane Babbitt

I do not have a specific death year for Matilda Babbitt. I have a civil war pension packet in which her mother states that Matilda was living in St. Maries, Idaho and that she died about five or six years ago. This was written in 1911. So guessing at death date of 1905 or 1906. Her husband was Sylvester Babbitt. Sylvester Babbitt remarried on 10 June 1908 in St. Maries to a Laura Madaline Williams. (Second marriage for both of them. Do not know what her maiden name was.) Laura Madaline Babbitt died on 4 Apr 1925 in St. Maries. I do not know what happened to Sylvester Babbitt. Information on him would be appreciated, too. I have been seeking a death date for Matilda for a few years now and am hoping that someone out there will help me find it. Thank you.

Margaret Larson married my uncle Ben Larson about 1926 in Spokane, WA. They had a daughter Margaret Larson born Dec.9, 1927. They divorced before 1930.
In 1948 at the time of my uncle´s death in Spokane, WA there is an annotation as follows:
"daughter Josephine Larson who is also known as Josephine Bell, address St. Maries, Idaho, of age 20 years".
I am searching my first cousin Margaret/Josephine. I think she lived with her mother Margaret Larson after the divorce. Maybe the mother remarried and for that reason the surname Bell.
I appreciate any information about these persons that can help me find again my first cousin in America. Thanks in advance.
Sven Jonsson in Sweden

Ancestry has a death index for Idaho that is through 1951. Is there another death index that covers the time after 1951? I am trying to locate the death date for an Emma (Rector?)Haydon Jensen, wife of a Pete or Peter Jensen. An obit and 1920 &1930 censuses place them in St. Maries and College, ID. A 1999 Benewah query mentions a Peter Jensen who died in a house fire after 1956. They were both born c1879 (Emma Feb. 1879). Any help in locating an idex or their death dates would be most appreciated!!

I am trying to locate George M & Lillian (Midgley) Nyce. They were living in the Lovell Precinct of Benewah County, Idaho during the 1930 Census.

George was born circa 1877 in Milford, Pike, Pennsylvania approximately 66 in 1930.
Lillian was born 1870 in Yorkshire, England approximately 59 in 1930.
They were married 12 October 1901 in Lowell, Middlesex, Massachusetts.

I am looking to see if they spent the rest of their life in Idaho or not. George was a Forest Ranger and it appears that they moved around a lot so I am somewhat unsure that they settled in Idaho but I though I would give it a shot.

There were no children listed in the census so I'm not sure if they have any living descendants.

I am also curious because I can't find anything on the Lovell Precinct. Where was it and was is it called now?

Many area residents are interested in and beginning to form solid plans to start a historical & genealogical society for Benewah County general area. This is more of a regional plan rather than strickly by county. The northern part of Latah County (Potlatch) and northeastern part of Whitman County, WA (Tekoa, Farmington, Oakesdale area) would probably be covered as well. If anyone is interested in donating records, photos etc or volunteering please email me. We are hoping to move forward with plans by end of March. We are in negotiations for a building in Tensed (west Benewah County) that is right alongside Hiway 95 so has easy access from north (Coeur d' Alene) and south (Moscow) and east (St Maries). Anyone interested in becoming a member please email as well.

He obviously survived the war but is not listed in the on-line death index up to 1951 so I am thinking he lived past that date.

I live in Canada so am unsure of your resources.
Many thanks,
Leigh....

Bastwick or Bostwick family in 1930 Plummer, Idaho

I am searching for a Helen Bostwick/perhaps BAstwick
in Plummer Benewah County Idaho. Helen Bastwick is referred to in an obit for her sister Pearl Daniels who died
in California,1957. Helen Bastwick is living in Plummer
Idaho according to the obit. I searched the 1930 Idaho
census online for Plummer and found a very messy read,
but there appears to be a Bostwick or Bastwick family or
two in Plummer in 1930, page 7 in Plummer Village has an
intriguing Lottie Bostwick or Bastwick with birth and birth
locations for herself and her parents that very closely match
the Helen Bastwick I am seeking. Is there anyone who might
have access to a little better census ro read than the one
online at ancestry that might check for me? Better still
anyone with access to county or city directories who might
do a look up? I can pay a modest fee or trade for research
in Oregon resources. Please contact:

cmjones@teleport.com Thank you.

What became of Mark Dunegan?

Last known record of Mark and Harry G. Dunegan is when they registered for the WW I draft in Benewah, ID in 1917. Word was later received by his family near Patton, Cambria Cty, PA, that he had been found shot in his cabin. Apparently that is the last anyone knows of Mark. Do not know when this may have occurred, but would like to know any details to add to family history. Can anyone suggest where to go from here? Is "Benewah" a town, or only a Cty? Would a local paper have covered the story? Were local records kept of such things at that time?
(Mark also turned up in the 1910 Census of Kootenai Cty, page 115 or 116)
Not certain who Harry G. Dunegan was, but must have been a close relative because he also was from near Patton, PA. and must have gone "west" together. Would appreciate any info about him also.
