Grandpa moved to Fish Haven when he was eight years old. He went to Fielding High School where he played football and basketball. This was when he met his wife JoAnne Spence.

Grandpa decided to see if he could make a living taking care of people’s yards. He has worked very hard getting the business going and has made a living for his family ever since. It became a family business and all of their kids, and now some of the grandkids, have helped with the business.

Grandpa loves country music. Grandma, Grandpa, his brother Allen, and Bryce Coates started a band and played all over the country for a few years. They were called The Bridgerland Blazers.

The night of November 20th he woke up in night moaning that he wasn’t feeling well. On November 21st he was taken back to the ICU and then was taken into surgery again. At 5:27 pm Grandpa passed away with all the family around him.

Funeral services are under the direction of Allen-Hall Mortuary, and will take place Friday, November 30, 2018 at the Garden City 1st Ward Chapel, 65 South Bear Lake Boulevard, Garden City, UT., beginning at 11:00 am with a viewing prior from 9:00 to 10:30 am.
