Whitt C. Harris, 50, passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2018. He was born April 14, 1968 in Montpelier, Idaho the son of George Vard and Diane June Christensen Harris. He graduated from Soda Springs High School in 1986 and then served in the U.S. Marines from 1988 to 1992. He then received his plumbing contractor license and was owner-operator of White Water Plumbing L.L.C.
He married Peggy James in 2014 and have been together for 15 years.
He enjoyed camping, river rafting, riding 4-wheelers, horseback riding and loved being in the outdoors.
He is survived by his wife Peggy Harris, of Teton, ID, and six children, Nicole Anne Harris of Pocatello, ID, Jon Wayne and Vonda Orchard of Soda Springs, ID, Braden Whitt and Amanda Harris of Caldwell, ID, Cody Lee and Chetlize Orchard of Montpelier, ID, Jesse Raymond Orchard of Salt Lake City, UT, Cody Lee and Ashlie Harris of Teton, ID. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, his father George Harris and two sisters, Holly C. and Bill Harris Tyra C. and Mick Hayes, all of Soda Springs, ID. He was preceded in death by his mother.
Come join us in a celebration of life at Teton City, Pavilion (school) on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. Military rites will be held at 7:00 p.m. Please take exit 339 on I-20; it will be 4 miles east on Highway 33. Everyone is welcome back to our home to celebrate the sunrise "Whitt's way." It will be BYOB. Please no flower or plants. Donation are welcome. It will be casual dress.
