Ialeen Hayes Lewis, 93, died March 31, 2018 in the Bear Lake Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. She was born March 29, 1925 in Georgetown, ID to Adelbert Hayes and Vera Skinner Hayes.
She married Neil C. Lewis June 10, 1943 in Soda Springs, ID. Later on they were married March 10 1966 in the Logan, Utah LDS Temple. They lived in Nounan, ID, then moved to Montpelier, ID, in spring of 1959 where she lived for the remainder of her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband (Neil C. Lewis), her daughter (Debbie Lynn Lewis Hurren), her grandson (Ronald Brian Eames), her mother and dad (Vera Skinner Hayes and Adelbert Hayes), her brothers (Clinton Hayes, William Russel Hayes, and Verlin Hayes), grandparents (William J. Skinner and Elva M. Skinner).
She is survived by her children Russell LaDell Lewis (Pocatello, ID), Reginald K. Lewis (Oklahoma City, OK), Conan R. Lewis (Soda Springs, ID), Wade O. Lewis (Montpelier, ID), Wendy M. Lewis Eames Negus (Montpelier, ID), Kathy A. Lewis (Mesa, AZ), and Maryalene Lewis Hanson (Bennington, ID), 21 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren, many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
The funeral will be held April 5, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. in the Schwab-Matthews Mortuary in Montpelier, ID. A viewing will precede in the same location from 10:00 - 11:45 a.m. Burial will be in the Montpelier Cemetery where she will be placed beside her lifetime sweety.
