Norma Bell Cundick Dimond, passed away on March 7, 2018, in Layton, Utah. She died peacefully after contracting pneumonia in conjunction with a fall. She had been suffering from macular degeneration which impaired her vision and made daily life difficult to cope with.

Her parents were Samuel Cundick and Ida Crane Cundick. Norma was the last of nine children: Sam, Myrtle, Harvey, Doris, Ray, Darrell, Lucille, Ned, and Norma. Norma was born in West Jordan, Utah, on November 2, 1928, at her parent's home on Redwood road.

Norma is survived by two sons, Larimer (Pat) Kaysville, Utah, Craig (Lana) Layton, Utah; and two daughters, Carla of Mountainview, California, Cheri of Ogden, Utah. Norma's husband preceded her in passing, as well as an infant son, Brian Carl; Norma has 18 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

She loved her large family and enjoyed getting together for a visit or an outing. She also enjoyed trips with some great friends as they traveled and had fun adventures together. Her hobbies included reading, handiwork, and attending DUP meetings.

Norma was married to Walt Dimond, in the Salt Lake Temple November 21, 1947. They made their home on a ranch 12 miles north of Kemmerer, Wyoming, on the Hamsfork River. Norma and Walt left Wyoming in 1965, and purchased a larger ranch two miles south of Montpelier, Idaho, where they lived until 1977. They then moved back to Utah, settling in Layton and then moving to Ogden, off of 12th Street. Norma moved from her home into an assisted living facility in February 2017, where she was living when she passed away at the hospital after her fall.

Norma was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many capacities including, Primary Teacher, Relief Society President, and as a Visiting Teacher up until she passed away.

Friends and relatives are invited to services that will be held at the Lorin Farr 5th Ward building, 1608 East 1300 South, in Ogden, Utah, on March 15, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. A viewing will be held on Wednesday evening, March 14, 2018, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Leavitt's Mortuary, at 836 East 36th St., Ogden. A viewing will also be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 15, 2018, at the Lorin Farr 5th Ward building before the Funeral Services.

Interment will be at West Jordan Cemetery.
