Juanita Jean Langford DeClark Derricott, 99, passed away on December 19, 2017, at the Logan Regional Hospital, Logan, Utah. She was born March 21, 1918 at Thistle Junction, Utah, to John Leslie Langford and Lucille Rising Langford. She was the second of five children.
She attended grade school in Pegram, Idaho and high school at Cokeville, Wyoming. She attended Sawyers Business School in Los Angeles, California.
She married Joseph Albert DeClark on February 15, 1941 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Joseph was killed June 15, 1944 during WWII while serving his country. She then married Phil Smith Derricott June 27, 1948 in Montpelier. He died April 25, 1989.
Juanita was a bookkeeper for Bear Lake Memorial Hospital for 30 years and also administrator for 6 months before her retirement. She was long time volunteer at the Senior Center. She was an active member of the LDS Church serving in primary, young women, relief society, and other callings.
She is survived by son Joseph (Connie) DeClark of Georgetown, daughter Suzanne (Dennis) Tueller of Paris, and a sister Fern Nate of Logan, Utah. She has 7 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both husbands, her parents, and three brothers, Ronald, Ralph, and Duane.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Montpelier Fourth Ward. Friends may call at the Mortuary on Tuesday, December 26th from 6:00 to 7:30 pm and at the church from 10:00 to 11:45 am on December 27th prior to the services. Burial will be in the Montpelier Cemetery.
