Sandra (Sandi) Faye Hanson, 66, of Ovid, Idaho peacefully passed away in her home the morning of November 28, 2017. Sandi was born April 8, 1951, in Montpelier, Idaho to Charles DeVere Doman and Faye Dona (Murdock) Doman. Sandi graduated from Highland High School in Pocatello, Idaho in 1969. Shortly thereafter, Sandi married her high school sweetheart, Wayne Robert Hanson, of Pocatello, Idaho on June 6, 1969, in the Logan, Utah LDS Temple.

They briefly lived in Culver City, California, where Sandi worked for Hughes Aircraft as a Secretary/Personal Assistant. After Wayne was discharged from the Marine Corps they lived in several locations, but finally chose to settle in the Bear Lake Valley in the fall of 1980. It was there that they raised their family of eleven children.

Sandi was happiest when serving others and was always placing the needs of another before herself. Her children and grandchildren were the center of her universe and she loved nothing more than spending time with her family.
