Lenore Lewis Friedman, 87, peacefully passed away on Jan. 2, 2004. Lenore was born in Montpellier, Idaho, and moved as a child with her family to Salt Lake City. A graduate of East High School, Lenore attended UCLA and the University of Utah. She married Seymour Friedman of Chicago, Illinois in 1940. A member of Temple B'nai Israel. Lenore was President of Sisterhood. She and Seymour were active members of both the Jewish and Salt Lake Communities In 1966, Lenore and her family moved to San Francisco. California. Most recently she resided in San Rafael, California. Lenore was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Seymour Friedman. Beloved by her family, she is survived by her three children Joni Pratt and her husband Russell Pratt of Tiburon, California; Jim Friedman of Salt Lake City, Utah; and Judy Friedman of Tahoe City, California. Lenore was the devoted grandmother of Jennifer Fogelman, Michael Fogelman, Joey Friedman and Danny Friedman. A private memorial service was held in Tiburon, California. At the request of the family, contributions in memory of Lenore may be made to Special Olympics.
