Eastern Idaho Death Records at http://abish.byui.edu/specialcollections/ has the above information. Other Smuins are listed, but no others in Pocatello. I find no other Smuins buried in Mountain View Cemetery, and was unable to locate her in a census
New York Passenger List from 1947 (Ancestry.com) shows her birth date as 5 Jun 1903 in Soda Springs, Idaho. She was living in Pocatello at the time of her trip back from Europe.
She is listed in the SSDI; her application would give her parents’ names. Possibly someone in Pocatello could look up her obituary in the Idaho State Journal, or you could search their archives and get it for a fee.
