Classification: Query
Surnames: Johnson Nelson Myers Doane
Seeking a photo of a James Monroe Johnson who lived in South Boise from 1906 (2133 Longmont St).
He was born 29 Sep 1845 (PA) and died 4 Jul 1936.
Other info:
He married Anna M. Olesen 22 Aug 1897 Glenn's Ferry, Elmore, ID, his second marriage. His kids from this marriage were:
George William
Albertina (married a Nelson)
Mabel (died young)
Edna (married a Myers)
May W (married a Doane)
Irene (single in 1936, living in Topeka)
Marie (d. bef 1936)
I believe he may be "my" James Monroe Johnson, a mysterious and aloof character who was born 28 Sep 1845 (NH) and supposedly died on April Fool's Day in 1909 in Washington State, but I haven't been able to find any trace of that for over 10 years. He was estranged and divorced from his first wife, and she may have told the family that he had died shortly before her own death in 1910. Anyway, if I had a photo of this James to compare with the ones I have of when he was with his first wife, it would help to confirm or rule out my suspicions. Thank you!
