Hi,
Good stuff! Remember, it will be awhile before I can send my pix as I didn't bring my computer on this trip. My dad doesn't have a computer connection, there is a community one I can use in the lobby of his residence, and I have the iPod. It is such a pain flying with a computer. I will scan the pix in andmsend them when I return.
Also, the infant's grave was not LaBenz... which is why I wasn't sure why I took the picture. I will nonetheless send it: very poignant it is.
You are unlikely to find the DaCosta-Pimentals (originally from the Azores, I believe, btw) associated with the Lihue Lutheran Church: I know for a fact that they were Catholics. He was an "engineer" in the sugar business, my father tells me - 'whatever that meant in those days', as he says
