My Great-Grandmother and Great-Grt Grandmother's remains were moved from Kamoiliili Cemetery and relocated to Kawaiaha'o Church. Kawaiaha'o Church sent notices out in the late 1960's to 'ohana's of the pending relocation and re-interrment. Many notices went unanswered for many reasons. In my 'ohana's case, the only survivor that would have been able to respond to the notice at that time passed away several months before the notices went out. Only after researching Death Certificate info and speaking with Kawaiaha'o Church Trustees, did we discover the final resting places of our ancestors at the location of the Kamo'o'ili'ili Church Cemetery bell at Kawaiaha'o Church cemetery. We have placed images of the new memorial and listed names of those whose 'ohana's responded to Kawaiaha'o Church's notices on our 'ohana website at http://gasper-kealawaiole.net
