Von Aspe, John W. Searching for information about this sea captain who died about 1910, but could be between 1906 - 1920. He was cremated and ashes shipped to widow, Elsea Jensine Von Aspe in San Pedro, CA. There was no family in Hawaii, so an obit not likely. The family thinks he died when ship sank.
