According to my tutuwahine, Sarah K Namoku, my tutukane Louis P Williams is descendent of Jack W Williams & Mary Kaaiuhi Kuehu but the Office of Health status states it's John Williams and Kaaihui Kuehu. Jack or John Williams is son of Kekuia.

Jack Kulani Williams is my makuakane. I don't personally know any `ohana to Lui besides my aunties/uncles and my cousins. Sarah Keone Williams (Namoku) passed away in Feb 1997. I am currently doing research on the Kuehu branch of our 'ohana family tree. My Great(x3)grandfather and grandmother, Kuehu and Hookano Kailianu Kuehu are the parents of (John) Kaaihue Kuehu who moved from Maui to Ka'u near the turn of the century (1900)to work the ranches as a cowboy. My research shows he married two times -- one of which was KAANAANA. They had a son Solomon Kuehu, Jr. (now recorded as Sr.)and I discovered just recently in research, a daughter, Rose Kaaiuhi (also seen as Kaaihui, Kaaihiu, Kaaihue) Kuehu, married to Jack (or John) Keaka Kekuia Williams. This is a significant find for us as we had a recorded name of "Keauihi" Kuehu named as a child of John Kaaihue Kuehu in previous marriage to Kainoa Lahapa Kanakakeawe. I am unable to find any other information on "Keauihi" and now believe this may actually be (Rose) Kaaiuhi Kuehu. Any information you can provide to help us verify would be greatly appreciated. I would also be happy to share info we have on our Kuehu (Maui) connection. Mahalo Nui in advance. Kimo
