Hi,

pardon the intrusion, but are you related to the Kanakaokai/Kalainawai ohana? Joseph (Lono) Waiki Sr, was married to my aunty, Margaret Poepoe Moku. They had four siblings...can't remember the oldest daughters' name, but Waiau, Joseph Jr and Louisa (we call her Luika), are my first cousin on my fathers' side.

Aloha,
My sister & I were surfing the web trying to see if we could find any information about our roots. Our maternal grandfather is William Kalainawai Hapuku Kama Jr. We have not heard the Kalainawai name said since finding out about it less than 10Yrs. ago that it is our "rightful" name. We would be more than happy to exchange any info that we have.
