My Grandfather and Grandmother (John H. Callahan and Maggie E. Grant)lived in Dalton, Whitfield, Georgia in 1900. They got married that year. They were staying with John's sister Mattie and her husband James Head Seay in their boarding house. James and Mattie had one child at that time. Her name was Bessie. I do know that John and Maggie later had 10 children and moved to Knoxville, Tennessee..I descended from one of those children. John was born in 1880 as far as I can find out and Maggie around that time. She came from South Carolina to Dalton but, I don't know anything about my Grandfather John. He and Maggie had both passed away by the time I was born. Can you help me?
