It is so sad that you have Callahan relatives and I have Callahan relatives but, I don't know anything about my Grandfather and Grandmother's past. I just know that they were born around 1880. And their names were John H. Callahan and Maggie Eldon Grant. In 1900 John and Maggie married in Dalton, Whitfield County. They went on to have 10 children. and moved to Knoxville, Tennessee in the 1920's. I am the daughter of one of their sons. Horace Manley Callahan. He was born in 1906 in Dalton. I would love to get any piece of information that I can..My Grandparents died before I was born and all of the children have passed away since then. My name is Janice Callahan Dickens.
