Trish, I know this is an old post but, I really appreciate what you found for me. I found the death certificates for John and Maggie with their parents names on them. but, as of right now I haven't been able to find a birth certificate for either of them. Nor have I found any census with Maggie in it until the 1900 one where she was living in a boarding house with John's sister and her husband. After that I have found her in the next censuses until she died but, I can't find even one that shows her in the family. There were children born after her that showed up in census. And, so far I haven't found a marriage certificate. I am working on my Dad's and Mom's family's I haven't had any trouble with My Mom's family or any other problems with the Grant Tree..Just can't find Maggie..I found John's Grandfather and Great Grandfather. Thanks for your previous help..If you happen to find anything about Maggie's birth certificate I would appreciate you letting me know..In the meantime I will keep on searching..I even went to the courthouse in Dalton and they said that they didn't have anny records back that far..Thanks again, Jan Callahan Dickens
