The death certificate of William Franklin Glenn indicates that his mother was Susan Boatwright and his father was Otway B Glenn. Otway was in records in Washington Cty between 1830 and 1880. In 1840-1860 census, he lived with his mother, Patience Glenn, and in late 1860, he married Susan Floyd. William is not listed until 1880 when he married Sallie Edmundson. I have not found another marriage for Otway. I found a William Glenn in an 1870 orphanage in Augusta, but it is not an unusual name. Any help would be appreciated.
