According to Dan's book, the actual date Maria married M. N. Kilebrew was 23 Jul 1839. They applied for the license on 20 Jul 1839.

In a quick look it seems Maria's father was Peter Wiggins.

What is Dan's book, and where did you find the information that Maria's father was Peter Wiggins. I have not been able to find this individual in the census data.
