Hi,

I have the book, and can do a few lookups if you wish. It is mostly deed records.

By the way, I believe Mr. Crumpton sells this volume and his other more recent publications from his web site (around $60-65 each), although this volume, being older, may no longer be available.

Hi!

Sorry, no Newborn in the index, nor anything even close to any of the spellings you provided.

It is a full name index, making up 117 pages.

A link to Mr. Crumpton's website was provided, late last night in this message string, by PaulDJustis. Call up that message and click the link.

I just checked it out and this book remains available, for $40.00.

Hi,

I found 17 citations for either Churchwell or Churchill Gibson, for the most part deed records. I did not have time to check them all, but they seem to be dated after 1805, when you said he had died. Could there have been a Jr.? Were Churchwell and Churchill Gibson the same person?

Greetings!
Mr. Crumpton has published two other books: (1) Warren County Land Records, which contains seven records to Churchill Gibson, Churchwell Gibson and Churchill Gibson Jr. Example: Page 164, Churchhill Gibson, Warren County Tax Digest, 1798, Jones District, 275 acres on Middle Creek, Adjoined by Breed.

(2) Warren County Genealogy II which contains 38 references to the same names, plus several others like C. Gibson, Churchl Gibson, Church L. Gibson. Example: Page 188, Churchwell Gibson married Mary Brantley 11 Sep 1805, Warren County First Book of Marriage Records 24 March 1794-20 March 1814.
