I'm looking for information on Joseph P Hackney. b. abt 1795 in Va, came to GA and married Polly Phillips Feb 26, 1809 in Wilkes County. I believe he married again to Catherine Jeffries Jan 1, 1836 in Taliaferro County then moved to Muscogee County were he(or someone by the same name) is listed in the 1850 census. The childred listed started in 1836 and Catherine is quite a bit younger so it looks like a second family.
