I am seeking information about James H. Pinyan,
who was Sheriff of Pickens County from 1891-1893.
My Great Granparents Danford Samual Pinyan
and Mary Texaner Worley were married in Pickens
County on Oct 1,1885 by L.T.Padgett,MG(Minister
of the Gospel). My Grandfather Mitch Pinyan
told us stories of living in a log cabin in
the mountains when he was a small baby.
Once when my GGrandfather was out hunting
a large black bear frightened my GGreatgrandmother
by shaking the cabin door. Any information is
appreciated.
