Looking for information on Charles Leon "Charlie" Gray and his wife, Henrietta Dupree, whom he m. around 1900, probably in Paulding Co, then moved to Carroll Co, where my grandmother, Gaudie Mae Gray, was b. 1903, and later m. Thomas Roy "Ross" Couch

Looking for info re: grandfather Charles Marion Gray - wife Susie Rebecca Waldrop or sons Marshall, Albert and Theo. Believe Charles was buried in Paulding Cty, Ga. maybe in a Baptist church cemetary in the 1920's.

1. Dupree 1800 Wake, NC died 1869 Cherokee Co., Ga married abt 1825 Judith Ann Fields 1806 Va died aft 1870 Cherokee.
2. Joseph G Dupree Apr 1842 Union, SC buried at Crossroads Bapt Church, Paulding, Ga married (before or after Civil War) Nancy Ann Cole 1842 Union.
2. Thaddeous Marion Dupree (brother of Joseph G Dupree) Jan 1839 Union died 1904 Paulding, Ga, SC married 1858 Sarah A Frances Cole (sister of Nancy) 1844 Union, SC died 1903 Paulding, Ga is my line.
Nancy and Sarah's father was John Cole 1819 Union, SC died after 1860 and was married abt 1840 Union, SC to Elizabrth Whitlock 1826 SC

Is Griffin Dupree the son of John Dupree and Nancy Short Dupree, if so are Joseph G. and Thaddeus Marion the children of Griffin and Judith Ann Fields?
Do you know if Griffin had a brother William Griffin married Myra Miriam Haney?

Yes Linda, this is exactly as you outlined. Unfortunately, I do not have any info on William Griffin Dupree other than his wife's name as Miriam ?

I know this posting is 9 years old but I am also a desendant of the dupree gray family my grand mother was flordia pearl gray her parents were henrietta charley gray your grand parents house from where is live is about 500 yards away

Joseph Dupree is actully buried at new hope cemetery and thad is buried at cross roads Joseph is my great great grand father.
