My ggg-grandparents , Edwin Carter Anderson and Thena James Anderson, are buried in the Old High Shoals cemetery--I read where it said they were co founders of the Hardshell Baptist Church in 1841--he was born 1811-died 1851--she was born 1808 and died in 1888. Any information or pictures of the cemetery or church would be so appreciated. I live in Oklahoma and cannot come to Georgia--hopefully someday. Thank you. Rhonda MIller

I happen to have taken pictures in the Old High Shoals Cemetery in Dallas, GA; and have pictures of grave markers for the above. I see that your post is from 2007. If you are still interested, please contact me at samorrissey@charter.net and I will email them to you.

My gggg grandmother Sarah Anderson (Lee) is also buried in Old High Shoals Cemetery. And while there saw the Edwin & Thena graves ... and thought that my Sarah might be related to Edwin, so I took a picture of the grave sites.
