I think that your Lena Kierce may have been the daugther of Noah Kierce and Martha Ann Wood. In the 1900 Census of Mitchell County, Georgia they have a daughter listed as Lenie Kierce born in December 1884 (dates were sometimes wrong).
Noah Kierce was the son of John and Tabitha Kierce of South Carolina. Martha Ann Wood was the daughter of Silas and Nancy Wood. Martha Wood's sister Penny Wood married Noah Kierce's brother Solomon Kierce.
