I am researching William Fleming that is in the 1820 census for Madison county GA.I am looking for any family information,when did he first get to Madison county and start paying taxes?My ancestor W.W.Fleming was born in 1807 in Jackson county Ga.I am trying to find out if this William was his father.I am also trying to find out if the area where they lived was a part of Jackson county until 1811?
