Thanks, MTaunton, for your comments. I've seen your postings about this family over the years. Like my 'lost Ezekiel Adams' who was deceased by 1820, whose son William Riley is my 2nd ggrandfather. People have asumed he was the Ezekiel who died in old Wilkinson Co, GA (and he might be) but finding any records to prove it have been quite a challenge. William Riley named his baby son Amos ... so I feel quite sure there's a relationship with this older Amos Adams family, since Amos wasn't the most used name in any other Adams trees. Nor was the name Ezekiel, Willoughby or William Riley. And the search continues!
