FUNERAL SERVICES FOR JESSIE LEWIS CROWE, 53.
Funeral services for Jessie Lewis Crowe, 53, were held at 3 pm Sunday at the Marshallville Baptist Church and burial was in the Marshallville Cemetery.
Rev. W. C. Tribble and Rev. Tom Harmon officiated. Pallbearers were John Walker, Horace Williamson, Robert Morris, Jack Carter, Buddy Freeman and Leon McEwen.
Mr. Crowe, 53, died early Saturday in a Montezuma Hospital. He had suffered a heart attack Friday night.
Mr. Crowe, who had operated two service stations in Perry, moving here six years ago from Marshallville. He was a member of the Big Creek Baptist Church of Irwinville.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mildred Cavenaugh Crowe of Perry; one son, James F. Crowe of Perry; five daughters, Mrs. A. L. Beavers and Mrs. A. L. Law, both of Marshallville, Mrs. P. D. Hobbs of Atlanta, Mrs. Leroy Williams of Barnesville and Miss Jackie Crowe of Perry; his mother, Mrs. Ada Crowe of Fitzgerald; one sister, Mrs. T. F. Stripling of Fitzgerald; five brothers, John Henry Crowe and Clifford Cecil Crowe, both of Marshallville, Ed N. Crowe of Perry, Mack D. Crowe of Fort Valley and Guy Eston Crowe of Macon
Gardner Watson Funeral Home of Perry was in charge of arrangements.
