Two Howell children are buried in the old Nimblewill Methodist Church Cemetery in Lumpkin County, GA. One marker says “Geo. L. Son of John P. Howell Born Dec. 11, 1876 Died Jan. 11 1887.” The other marker says “Infant of Mr. & Mrs. John P. Howell Born & died mar. 11, 1889”.
Another marker in this cemetery reads “John J. Grizzle 1805 – 1912 and Mary C. Grizzle 1834 – 1902”.
