Amos Tims/Thames was in the 1820 census of Jones Co Ga. he also had a property deed in the 1818 tax digest. this family lived in Jones,Twiggs Co for several years. His wife was Elizabeth (Temples), children: Stephen, Samuel, Joseph, Thomas Harmon, Thomas Taylor, maybe Mary,and Jane. dsHe was quite religious so is probably listed as belonging to some chruches. Kids in school, Maybe an account at the Peck Store which I hear is documented somewhere in Jones co History.
Other families related were Snowden and Wells. Amos drew land lottery while living in Twiggs Co in 1820 lottery for land in Early Co Ga. Does anyone know of or about these people and maybe researching them also? please contact me.
