I'm trying to find out where this Old Queensboro, GA would have been in 1800's.
My ancestor Catharine Urquhart dau. of John was reported b. in Old Queensboro, Ga. 1805. I'd sure like to know where I might find any records of John he was reported m. to Miss Nealy (Neeley) dau of Thomas Nealy. NOT proven John Urquhart son of Norman was in Cumberland Co. NC in 1790's this is when they began migration to Mont. Co. AL. 1820's. A lot of reseach has been completed on this line of Norman Urquhart. Catharine Urquhart dau. of John m. my g g grandfather John Allen Williams in Mont. Co. AL 1826 he was the father of John Lafayette Williams b. 1832 Mont./Pike AL. Methodist Minister d. 1888 in Hazelhurt, GA. he married 1. Isabella H. Brewton 2. Rachel Ann Manning dau of Shadrack in the Glynn/Wayne Co. GA.
I would like any info on Old Queensboro, Ga. or John Uquhart in GA before 1820's? any family info on the children 1. Isabella H. Brewton she had 4 have names from family bible but families unknown they were b. in S. GA.
many thanks, karen
