I am looking for information on Josiah Freeman who moved from NC and died in Jasper County about 1824. Specifically, I am looking for information on where he and his second wife, Elizabeth Jordan, are buried. They had six children, Henry, Malinda, Jane, Benjamin, Josiah and Isaac. Any help is appreciated.

If you find that Edgar Freeman who lived in the Putnam Jasper area is related, I have a picture of him I can share with you. I think he died in the 1940-50's and was married to Mamie Key.

Was he related to Bailey Freeman (1791 NC/SC - 1857 Jasper Co., GA), who married Mary "Polly" Maxey?

They were probably cousins. I have been to Bailey's grave in Jasper Coo. but I don't find him in direct descent in my line. Thanks for the response.

I don't find that he was but I certainly appreciate your response. He may be a descendent like me but I havn't run across it yet. Thanks.

Hi. I am looking for a link to Josiah Freeman??????? I believe that Benjamin B. Freeman is the father of Elizabeth Freeman that married Charles Sidney Annis of Jasper Co. Ida Freeman was living with them as Sis-in-law in/on the 1880 Census Fulton Co. Some of the Freeman's moved from Jasper Co. to Fulton Co. I would like to know more about Benjamin B.Freeman. Josiah Freeman remarried Elizabeth Jordan after the death of his first wife. My line is from this marriage and from Josiah Wormwood Freeman, one of his sons.
