Someone out there has to have some information on the Shepherd family that lived in Jasper County in 1823 untill 1980 . I'm haveing a real hard time getting a response to my past querys . Frank N. Shepherd died in Shady Dale in 1980 . His obituary said he was a preacher and he had a barber shop beside his house . He is my grandfather I never met . I would like to know more about him whether it's good or bad . Please respond if you know this family . He was buried at Providence Church in Shady Dale .

Tony, there is a lady who lives in that area by the name of Marie Goolsby. She is in her 80's and grew up there. She could probably help you. She was a lot of help to me my my Gooslby's and Lazenby's.
