Seeking info on Dixon (or Dickson?) Thomas, father of Nancy Thomas Wheeler who married Richard Wheeler, Houston County 11 Sep 1849. Dixon Thomas died before March 1850, possibly in Houston Co.

My only info for Nancy Thomas' parents comes from Wm Henry's "Wills and Inferior Court minutes of Houston County GA" pub by CGGS, p 104 & 107 (abstracted).

Page 230 - 4 Mar. 1850:

William C. Taylor, guardian of Nancy Wheeler formerly Nancy Thomas and minor of Dixon Thomas, dec., having fully settled with Richard Wheeler the husband of said minor, applied for letters of dismission. Court ordered said request to be published according to law.

Page 241 - 1 Jul. 1850:
"William C. Taylor, guardian of Nancy Wheeler daughter of Dixon Thomas, dec., having fully settled with Richard Wheeler her husband, was granted letters of dismission.

Nancy and Richard Wheeler were my gg grandparents. They moved to Thomas Co., GA. between 1850-1860. Nancy died Bet. 1864 - 1869 and Richard died Bet. 1870 - 1875
