Martha Rollins won land in the 1821 Ga land lottery. The land was located in Henry co Ga. Newton co Ga was formed the last part of 1821 and the land was in the part of Henry co Ga that became Newton co Ga. She sold the land to David Smith but I do not know when she sold the land but it was probably about 1830. I am trying to find the deed where she sold the land. I ordered the deeds for Newton co Ga but the deed was not listed. Would anuyone know if the deed would be in the Henry co Ga deed book since it was originally in Henry co ga in 1821 when she won the land or should it be in the Newton co ga deed book because the area of Henry co Ga it was located in became Newton co Ga when it was formed in 1821?
