Hello, I am hoping to learn information and hopefully track down a photograph of William P. Adair.

William was born in 1838, probably in Meriwether County Georgia. He was the son of William Head Pearson Adair and Emma Hibernia Coleman. His mother is buried in Berea Cemetery near Hampton Georgia as is his wife Laura E. Campbell. William himself is also buried in the cemetery, listed as Willie P Adair on his tombstone.

William P. Adair was a member of Company D, 3rd Battalion Georgia Infantry during the civil war. He was cited by his officers for bravery at the Battle of Stones River. I would greatly love to have a picture of him or hear from anyone else with information on him.
