Just read your posting. I too am of the line of Thomas and Cassa Kimbriel/Kimbrel. From him it goes to George Isom Kimbrel/Kimbriel, and others whom right now are not in front of me, to my grandfather, Omer Preston Kimbriel/Kimbriel. I also found the Elizabeth Kimbrel on the census and could not find he before or after and wondered if she was his mother, birth date fits. Would love to share info, and there are several others also working on this line who would share I think. We are not in Kith and Kin, or line. I have traced the family from S.C. to Georgia, Alabama, Texas and to Oaklahoma to California. There is some family left in Oaklahoma (LAA. Kimbriel's decendents, Omer's brother) but they do not want to talk genealogy for some reason. As a child I understood we had family in CA, they were farmers in Santa Clara Valley but that would be gone now. R
