I am seeking information on James Davis who was a native of VA and came to GA when a young man. He married Ondia Davis, raised a family, was a captain and fought in the Indian War and died in Harris Co. GA. His daughter Elizabeth ( born 5 April 1811 in Jasper Co. GA) married my g-g-grandfather John R. Jones in 1828 and moved to Meriwether Co. GA.
