I am looking for information on my great great granddaddy Claiborn Harris who was born bet. 1815 - 1818 in South Carolina, and died bet. 1860 - 1870 in Alabama. He married MARY CAWLEY 25 Apr 1837 in Lowndes County Alabama. She was born Bet. 1818 - 1820 in South Carolina. One of Claiborn's sons was Taylor or (Boce) Harris. Boce was my great granddaddy. I have information from Taylor or Boce up to 2008 on his descendents. One of Taylor's sons was Robert L Harris. One of his sons was my daddy Melvin L Harris I would like to hear from anyone that has information on Claiborn's other children and any history on the Harris Family prior to Claiborn.
