Isham Harris of Jasper Co, GA and David Harris Jr of Newton Co, GA were sons of David Harris Sr who died shortly after 1820 in Clarke Co, GA. DNA tests for descendants of two other sons have shown that David Harris Sr descends from another surname with a very unusual heritage. There is more to be learned and I will pay for additional DNA tests by male Harris descendants of Isham and David Jr. This is a simple, salvia-like test that would be a big help to understanding this ancestry.
