Bennett was b. 9 June 1842 in Rabun Co.,GA, and d. 3 Aug. 1923. He married 1st Nancy Wilburn. Their children: 1. William, b. about 1861, 2. Joshua Thompson, b. 23 July 1867, 3. Savannah, b. about 1869, 4. Wiley, b. 1872, GA, d. 1964, buried Harmony above, 5. Vanda, 6. Vandy. Bennett married 2nd to Octavia b. 14 July 1869, d. 3 Aug. 1909, buried Harmony above. Their children: 7. Jessie L., b. Oct. 1889 GA, 8. Bennett O. (female), b. Aug. 1881 GA, married Will Lynch; 2 children, 9. Isaac Harrison, b. Sept. 1893 SC, 10. Theo Ross, b. 1896 GA, 11. Jewel, 12. Cleo P., twin to 13. Cora E., b. GA, 14. Lula b. 8 April 1903, d. 14 March 1933, buried Harmony, above. There is also Grover b. 14 Feb. 1907, died 22 July 1907, buried between Octavia and Lula in Harmony, above.
