Mrs. M. L. Allen Sr. formerly of Calhoun, died at the home of her daughter Mrs. Carter Mullinax in Cartersville Friday morning Dec 14, 1956.
Survivors include four daughters Mrs. H. H. Crawford, Mrs Roy Walraven, Mrs Carter Mullinax, Cartersville, Two sons,
M.L. Allen, JR Miami, Fla. Billy Allen Detroit, MI. One brother Alec Bolding Calhoun. One sister, Mrs. Lucy Barnes, Jacksonville, Fla. 29 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service were held Sunday at 2p.m. from the S Calhoun Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. R.E. Brookshire and the Rev. E.M. Garrett. Burial was in Franklin Cemetery.
Grandsons served as pallbearers.
