Marriage records show that Bennett Hosea/Hosey/Hozey married (1) Francis Wright on July 27, 1835 in Franklin Co., Ga. The only Wright family listed in the 1830 Franklin Co. Census is that of Obadiah Wright, possibly Francis's father. By Feb. 27, 1845 Bennett Hosey has married (2) Elizabeth Britt, also in Franklin Co., Ga. The only Britt listed in the 1840 Franklin Co. Census is Catherine Britt, possibly Elizabeth's mother. By Jan 1, 1846, Bennett Hosey has married (3) Lydia Priest in Cherokee Co., Ga. Is it possible that both Francis and Elizabeth died in Franklin Co. and would anyone know where they are buried? Unable to find Bennett listed in either Franklin or Cherokee Co. 1840 Census. Possible he was living with mother, Drucilla Hosey in Franklin Co. Would appreciat any information that would help me sort out the Hosea/Hosey/Hozey family.Thanks.
