My family came to the Cummings, Ga. area in the early 1800's and settled in the Antioch community. My great-great grandfather was Josiah F Merritt who was born in S.C. His son John William Merritt was my great grandfather. If anyone knows of this family, I would be interested in any information about them. Thanks.
