My family came to the Cummings, Ga. area in the early 1800's and settled in the Antioch community. My great-great grandfather was Josiah F Merritt who was born in S.C. My name is Susan Emily Youngblood Gilbert. My mother is Mary Frances Merritt Youngblood. Her parents were Luther and Ida Merritt. Pa Luther's father was John William Merritt. His father was Josiah F. Merritt.
