When I copied the cemetery, I found it by turning down the road that runs along the north side of
Bethlehem Church (
Bentley Road). At the back of the Church property which is on the left looking across the road on the right there was a lot of brush filled woods and the cemetery was at the back of the woods in a northerly direction. Garland and I actually had to go back to the road that runs in front of
Bethlehem (Post Road), go up to the then 1st house on left (west side, asked permission and went thru the lady's vineyard, across the fence at the back, southwesterly thru the brush dried pasture grass, that was about knee high, to the back side of the woods. It was there in the edge.
This is the Samuel and
Hannah Wilson Holbrook family plot.
Remember this was in the '70s when the population was less than 20,000 (now about 100,000).
In Winnie Tallant's Migrations of Holbrook's on page 25, she has the county tax map 103 which has the square containing the cemetery shown. It shows a house on
Bentley Road on the right with the cemetery in a northwesterly direction from the back of the house. (the '80s)
The tax maps have all been renumbered but perhaps the current tax map showing the property northwest of the intersection of
Bentley Road and Post Road might have the cemetery marked.
Hope this helps.
