Ervin, Sr. is the son of Ross Anderson Elliott who married Alpharetta "Alpha" Bruce. Ross is the son of Isaac J. Elliott who married Millie Emily Smith. Isaac was the son of John Elliott, Sr. who married Elizabeth Agee (or so I beleive). Johns' son Ruben T. Elliott who married Mary Menervia Murphy is a brother to Issac. I beleive that John and Elizabeth also had a son named James J. Elliott, Sr. who married Nancy Smith. James, Sr.s' daughter Jane "Jayne" Elizabeth Elliott married John Paton Holbrook. Jane and John are my great great grandparents on my mothers side of my family. Ruben T. Elliott and Mary Menervia Mruphy are the parents of Dabner Wansley Elliott who married Mary Jane Rowland and Dabner and Mary are the parents of Jefferson Finley Elliott who married Virginia O. Jackson
